How the daily puzzle works

Each day picks one theme from our library and shuffles its sixteen words into a new grid. Everyone who visits on the same date gets the same grid, so you can compare first words with friends. If the word you spot was not planted but is a real English word, it still counts as a bonus word and you get its dictionary definition. Your results are remembered in this browser, which is how the streak counter works. Nothing is sent to a server.
